Boston Public Library eCard
If you live or work in Massachusetts you can get a Boston Public Library eCard by filling out the application here that will give you access to hundreds of online resources which can be found by clicking here.
Some of our favorite BPL resources are:
- Business resources like Valueline, Morningstar Investment Research Center, AtoZ Databases and Mergent Intellect.
- Resources for self-directed learning like Lindedin learning (16,000 video courses), Learning Express (exam prep), Mango Languages, MA driver’s license practice tests, Very Short introductions, Headspace (guided meditations)
- For Kids and Teachers they have ERIC (scholarly journals), Scholastic bookflix and Teachables, and TumbleMath
- For Job Seekers there is Peterson’s Career Prep (create a resume)
- For Legal Forms try the LawDepot
- For Scholarly research they have JSTOR and many other research databases
- For the News you can access the latest edition of the New York Times as well as the historical edition

Newsbank lets you read articles from a number of local and national newspapers.
The Cape Cod Times and Boston Herald Collections give you access to same-day articles. Use the Image Edition of the CCT or BH to see today’s newspaper in full-color, exactly as it is printed.
